Argentine football legend Lionel Messi's GOAT tour culminates in the capital city of New Delhi on Monday, December 15. During his time at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, the International Cricket Council (ICC) Chairman, Jay Shah, gifted Team India's newly-launched World Cup jersey to Messi and his Inter Miami teammates, Luis Suarez and Rodrigo De Paul.
The former BCCI Secretary Shah shared the frame with the top football players, along with Delhi's Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, the DDCA President Rohan Jaitley, and former Indian legendary footballer Bhaichung Bhutia.
Thus, Lionel Messi’s tour ends on a good note, with his facilitating the Delhi crowd with a speech, greeting fans and thanking them for all the love showered on him during his GOAT tour of India

Not only did Shah present Messi with India's jersey bearing the footballer's name and jersey number, but also the ticket for the T20 World Cup match between India and the USA.
GOAT Messi and the other two legends received a hospitable welcome at Delhi's cricket stadium as the fans cheered for him. The stadium was packed with fans who turned up in big numbers to watch the football icon live.
Notably, Messi's four-city tour, which began on a disappointing note in Kolkata, was salvaged in Hyderabad and got even better in Mumbai, where the likes of Tiger Shroff, Sachin Tendulkar and Ajay Devgn, among others, met one of the greatest footballers of all time.
During his Mumbai visit, the cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar gifted the Argentine a signed Indian jersey with his name and number on the back, marking one of the most iconic crossovers in the history of the sporting world.
