‘Cricket is much more than a game’, fans have proved the fact right over the years. Their emotion of witnessing their team winning or just seeing a glimpse of their favorite player is priceless for them. Some fans experienced this magic firsthand when they got to live their dream during India’s practice session in Dubai.

As Team India is set to play their matches in Dubai, players were seen practicing at the ICC Cricket Academy. During that, Rehman and Fatima got the best possible glimpses of the Indian stars and unlocked a lifetime memory.

Fans Fulfill Their Cricketing Dreams In Dubai

Before the Champions Trophy begins, Team India is training hard at the ICC Cricket Academy. As the ‘Men in Blue’ were sweating hard in the nets, fans waited hours just to see their favorite players from close. Honestly, the Indian stars didn’t offend the fans. Fans captured those precious moments. In the same way, Rehman has also fulfilled his dream.

“We have come from Oman. We will be watching a few matches of India. We are quite happy that we got such an opportunity to see the cricketers from so close.” Rehman said.

As the fans kept waiting outside, Shreyas Iyer made Fatima’s dream come true. Spotting the little girl among the crowd, the Indian batter took a moment to give her an autograph and made her day. After getting the autograph, the girl was all delighted and shared excitement.

“ I am so happy. I am so grateful to ICC for allowing us to see and interact with the Indian cricketers from so close. I managed to get the autograph on the T-shirt.” She said.


“This is so unreal. I saw Virat. He came and signed this one for me and for others. He is so nice and wonderful. I just missed Shami's autograph.” Fatima exclaimed with excitement.

Team India Aiming For A Confident Start

As the tournament came back after long, Team India is all set to have a positive start. Winning the ODI series just before the tournament is definitely a big boost for Rohit Sharma and Co., but the upcoming challenges will be bigger. Before stepping onto the big stage, the entire squad is sweating hard on nets to bring on their A game. On February 20, they’ll face Bangladesh in Dubai for their first match of the Champions Trophy 2025.
