A heartwarming moment unfolded during the ongoing first Test match between Pakistan and South Africa at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. A cricket fan in the stands proudly displayed a painting of star cricketer Virat Kohli. The video quickly went viral on social media, showing the fan smiling and holding up the beautifully made artwork.

Despite political tensions between India and Pakistan, Virat Kohli has undoubtedly massive fan base in Pakistan. This is not the first time his supporters have been seen in the stands during matches in Pakistan. Over the years, several fans have expressed their admiration for the star batter.
It is important to mention that Virat Kohli is currently only playing ODIs. He retired from T20I last year and announced his retirement from Test cricket in May 2025. Kohli was last seen playing in Indian Premier League (IPL 2025) and Champions Trophy 2025.
But however, the wait is over and fans will soon see their 'Idol' back on the field. The star batter is all set to to return for India’s upcoming tour of Australia, where the team will play three ODIs and five T20Is. The ODI series begins on October 19 (Sunday) in Perth.

Meanwhile, in the ongoing Test match, Pakistan started Day 2 on 313/5 but suffered a sudden collapse, being bowled out for 378. The team lost three wickets without adding a single run.
Earlier, Imam-ul-Haq and Shan Masood laid a solid foundation with a 161-run partnership. After that Mohammad Rizwan and Salman Ali Agha together stitched 163-run stand . However, it was South African bowler Senuran Muthusamy who turned the tide, taking six crucial wickets and helping his team fight back into the match, along with him Prenelan Subrayen also scalped two crucial wickets.
