Just days after announcing his retirement from Test cricket, Virat Kohli was seen unwinding in Bengaluru with his wife Anushka Sharma. A series of pictures featuring the power couple playing Pickleball with Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) teammates has gone viral on social media platform X.

The heartwarming visuals show Virat Kohli and Anushka playing against Dinesh Karthik and Dipika Pallikal Karthik. The couple is seen enjoying a playful game, smiling and laughing together.  

It is important to note that on May 12, Virat Kohli stunned fans by announcing his retirement from Test cricket, bringing an end to a 14-year-long era of dominance in the red-ball format. His decision came ahead of India’s upcoming Test series against England and was seen as the closing of a major chapter in Indian cricket. Since the announcement, Kohli has visibly shifted focus toward family, balance, and personal well-being. 

Spiritual Sojourn In Vrindavan

Adding to the peaceful post-retirement narrative, Kohli and Anushka visited the holy town of Vrindavan just a day after his announcement. The couple sought blessings from spiritual leader Shri Premanand Govind Sharan Ji Maharaj. 

Premanand Ji has previously credited Anushka Sharma with guiding Kohli towards a life of faith and inner balance amidst the chaotic demands of his cricketing fame.

Virat Kohli Turns Into A Family Man 

Fews days back a heart-melting video of the Kohli family also surfaced. In the clip Anushka was seen carrying their son Akaay while daughter Vamika walked beside them. The video was widely circulated, and clearly resemble Kohli’s transition into a more family-centric phase of life. 

Virat Kohli's Stellar Form In IPL 2025

The RCB star will return to action as he gears up to face Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in their next league match on May 23, 2025. This season Kohli has been in stellar form and has made 505 runs in 11 matches with the strike-rate of 143.47. It is important to mention that RCB have qualified for the IPL 2025 playoffs, this is the fifth time in the last six seasons and are pushing hard for their maiden title.
