PM Narendra Modi met the Indian women’s team on Wednesday (November 5), celebrating their historic ODI World Cup victory. While the meeting began as a formal discussion about India’s remarkable win, it soon turned into a light-hearted exchange. During the interaction, Harleen Deol surprised everyone by asking PM Modi about his skincare routine.

Harleen Deol’s exact words, -"Mujhe aapki skincare routine puchni thi, aap bahut glow karte ho sir (I wanted to ask about your skincare routine, sir - you really have a glow)," sparked laughter across the room, turning the conversation into a cheerful moment.

Responding with a smile, PM Modi said that his glow comes not from skincare products but from the blessings and love he has received from people over the years.

“I haven’t really paid much attention to this topic, but this glow comes from the love and blessings of millions of people, that’s true. It’s a great source of strength. I’ve been the head of the government for 25 years now — that’s a long time. But when you receive so many blessings, it shows,” Modi replied.

Even head coach Amol Muzumdar joined in the laughter, jokingly telling the Prime Minister, “As you can see, sir, these are the personalities I have to deal with — which has now made my hair go white!”

It is important to mention that PM Modi congratulated Harmanpreet Kaur and her team for their grit and determination.

The World Cup-winning team met the Prime Minister a day after returning from Mumbai. India had ended a decades-long wait for an ICC trophy by defeating South Africa by 52 runs in the final of the 2025 Women’s ODI World Cup at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai on Sunday.

India’s journey to the title was anything but easy. The team bounced back from losses to South Africa, Australia, and England to win crucial knockout matches and lift the trophy for the first time in history.
