The India women’s cricket team has already been showered with numerous rewards, including diamond jewellery, solar panels, and other gifts, following their historic World Cup win against South Africa in the final at the D.Y. Patil Stadium on November 2.
Adding to the list of accolades, Tata Motors Cars under the Tata Company have announced a special gift for the champions, the brand-new Tata Sierra.
Harmanpreet & Co. to receive first units of TATA Sierra
The Tata Sierra 2025 is set to launch on November 25, with the Indian women’s cricket team receiving the first units of the vehicle.
The upcoming four-wheeler will feature a tall, flat front fascia with vertically positioned squared LED headlights, LED DRLs, and an integrated ADAS panel for enhanced safety. It will also include flush door handles and wraparound tail lamps, giving it a sleek, modern SUV-like appearance.
Tata Motors announced the reward for Harmanpreet Kaur and her team through their official Instagram handle, celebrating the women’s team’s remarkable achievement.

The move was backed by fans as netizens took time to write down heartfelt words in response to this noble move from TATA brand.
India Women to play against Australia in February
Nevertheless, the India women’s cricket team will move on from their World Cup triumph to play their first assignment of 2026 against Australia Women, beginning on February 15.
The tour will feature a three-match T20I series, a three-match ODI series, and a one-off Test, concluding on March 6. The matches are scheduled to be played across Sydney, Canberra, Adelaide, Brisbane, and Hobart.
