In a humorous dig at Pakistan cricket’s downfall, popular Indian delivery service Blinkit engaged in a playful Instagram banter with the Pakistani dessert brand Crumble Pakistan, which set the internet on fire.

Pakistan cricket has become a laughing stock in world cricket owing to its rapidly falling standards over the past couple of years.

After getting knocked out of two ICC events group stages back to back, the men in green hit a new low by losing a two-game Test series against Bangladesh at home.

Around 1000 days have passed since Pakistan last won a Test at home, and the team’s record in white-ball format is remotely similar. Hence, it is safe to say that Pakistan will be fighting to stay relevant in the near future.

India-Pakistan rivalry takes new turn!

Interestingly, the cricket fever gripped business brands from India and Pakistan as, recently, a hilarious social media banter came to light.

Crumble Pakistan, a dessert chain, took a light-hearted jab at Blinkit, an Indian delivery service brand. Blinkit posted a promotional video, and Crumble Pakistan dropped a tongue-in-cheek comment suggesting the Indian brand to pace up its delivery services.

In response, Blinkit turned to cricket and roasted Pakistan's cricket team by commenting, "Apne bowlers ki kharab delivery pe dhyaan do.” The reference was to highlight Pakistan's recent inconsistent bowling performances, especially in Test format.

The cross-border banter quickly went viral as social media users braced themselves for an epic internet battle between both brands.

India Unlikely To Travel To Pakistan For Champions Trophy

With Jay Shah, son of Indian Union Home Minister Amit Shah, taking over as ICC chairman, India’s participation in Champions Trophy 2025, which is to be held in Pakistan, is unlikely to happen.

Amit Shah recently stated that dialogue with Pakistan is impossible until peace prevails at borders, indicating that strained relations between the two nations won’t improve anytime soon.

Hence, the Indian team is not likely to receive approval for the Pakistan visit, which means the Champions Trophy will have to be shifted at a neutral venue.
