Zimbabwe and South Africa are all set to face each other in a two-match Test series starting from June 28. Both Test matches will be played at the Queen’s Sports Club in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. Cricket fans are looking forward to this exciting battle between the two sides, especially with some new faces and leadership changes on both teams.
South Africa will be missing their regular Test captain Temba Bavuma, who recently led the team to a World Test Championship (WTC) title win against Australia. He has been ruled out due to a left hamstring injury. In his absence, Keshav Maharaj will take charge and lead the Proteas side for this series.
Meanwhile, Zimbabwe will be led by experienced campaigner Craig Ervine. The squad sees the return of Prince Masvaure and Takudzwanashe Kaitano to strengthen the batting line-up. Also, leg-spinner Vincent Masekesa has been recalled to bring variety to the bowling attack.
