Batting first and slipping to 37-3 at one stage of the match at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, Afghanistan mounted 325-7 from 50 overs. Opening batter Ibrahim Zadran cracked a career-best score of 177 runs off just 146 balls, and he received much assistance from captain Hashmatullah Shahidi, and all-rounders Azmatullah Omarzai and Mohammad Nabi.

Matthew Kuhnemann Cleared Of Suspect Bowling Action
Australian spinner Matthew Kuhnemann has been cleared of having a suspect bowling action after an investigation conducted by the International Cricket Council (ICC). The 28-year-old was reported over his bowling action after picking up 16 wickets in Australia’s two-match Test series against Sri Lanka earlier this month.
Kuhnemann subsequently received a temporary ban on bowling in competitive cricket, before match officials pushed for an investigation by the ICC. He can now continue playing with his current bowling action.
Virat Kohli In Top 5, Gill Extends Lead Over Babar Azam
Virat Kohli roared back into the top five rankings among men’s batters in ODI cricket. The legendary Indian batter recently punched out a match-winning ton against Pakistan in the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy. Kohli gained a rung to replace Daryl Mitchell to jump to number five spot on the rankings.
His teammate Shubman Gill, on the other hand, solidified himself at the number one position. He extended his lead over number two placed Babar Azam after India’s latest match against Pakistan. Rohit Sharma and Heinrich Klaasen, occupying third and fourth positions, are the remaining two batters to round up the top five batting charts.

The Mumbai Indians Women’s team took back the number one spot on the WPL 2025 points table by trouncing UP Warriorz with an eight-wicket margin in match 11 of the competition. The Warriorz batted first and hauled 142-9 from 20 overs, with Grace Harris top-scoring in the innings through her swift 26-ball 45. For Mumbai Indians, Nat Sciver-Brunt picked up three wickets in the evening at an expense of just 18 runs from four overs. Shabnim Ismail and Sanskriti Gupta additionally chipped in with two wickets each.
