Yuvraj Singh to share personal experience for seven days with aspiring stars
As per an official press release, the Yuvraj Singh Centre of Excellence (YSCE) has announced a high-performance training camp for youngsters and aspiring cricketers in the UAE between January 5 and January 11 next month. Yuvraj Singh himself will be personally mentoring the players, in a bid to creating “world-class development pathways for athletes”.
The YSCE will allow participants to train in an environment specifically designed to parallel the standards and expectations of competitive cricket. One of the major focuses of the initiative is to push the athletes in understanding the game at a profound level.
Addressing the initiative, Yuvraj Singh said that the YSCE camp in the UAE will give the players a “space where they can learn and understand what takes to become an athlete”. The two-time World Cup-winning cricketer added that he wants the participants to leave the camp with sharper skills and a “stronger discipline”.
With players set to arrive from varied cricketing backgrounds, the camp is expected to offer a diverse competitive environment for all attendees. The spotlight now turns to Yuvraj Singh, as he continues to play a nurturing role in his post-playing days for Team India.
