India’s star batter, Yashasvi Jaiswal has proudly made his way into the top 10 ICC men's Test batting rankings. Amidst stupendous display of batting in the ongoing Test series against England, Jaiswal has entered into the top 10 list for the first time in his Test cricket career.

He ascended two spots to take the number tenth spot in the ICC Test rankings with 727 rating points. The southpaw has wreaked havoc with the bat in the ongoing Test series against England.

He began the series with an 80-run knock in the first Test match and followed it up with a sensational double-century in the second Test. His heroic display of batting helped India level the series 1-1.

The young batting sensational left everyone in awe when he scored a second double-century in the very next Test match. He played an unbeaten 214-run knock off 236 balls, including 14 fours and 12 sixes. He is currently the highest run-getter in the series, amassing 655 runs in 4 Test at an astounding average of 93.57.

Jaiswal is now two spots behind Virat Kohli, who currently holds the number eight position in the Test rankings. Kohli has 744 rating points under his name and has jumped one spot despite not being available in the Test series.

Indian captain Rohit Sharma too climbed two spots in the ICC Test rankings. With 720 rating points, he now holds the eleventh spot. Shubman Gill, meanwhile, stays at 31st.

New Zealand skipper, Kane Williamson currently holds the numero uno spot with 870 rating points, followed by the likes of Joe Root (799), Steve Smith (789), and Daryl Mitchell (771) at second, third, and fourth spots, respectively.

Meanwhile, the fifth and final Test against England is slated to begin on 7th March 2024 at Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamsala.
