Relishing the high of consecutive double centuries in the Test series against England, Team India's rising young opener Yashasvi Jaiswal has purchased a new flat in Mumbai worth a whopping INR 5.38 crores.

Jaiswal, who has been based in Mumbai since migrating from Uttar Pradesh as a child to pursue his cricketing ambitions despite great hardships, has purchased a new home in the city, a flat in the Ten BKC project scheme, an under-construction project, which is acquired by Adani Realty.

According to a report by 'Money Control', the apartment was registered in Jaiswal's name on 7th January 2024, just after his return from the challenging tour of South Africa. Notably, this is the second time Jaiswal has shifted homes in the last year after earlier purchasing a luxurious 5 BHK flat in Thane in July 2023.

Jaiswal Buys New Flat In Mumbai After Rajkot Double

Jaiswal has been the protagonist of one of Indian cricket's most heartening tales. From growing up in a small village in UP to migrating to Mumbai in his teens on his own, the brave dreamer has transformed himself into an impactful cricketer for India, especially in Test cricket.

Since making his debut in July last year against the West Indies, Jaiswal has made three marathon centuries, including two double tons, and averages above 71 after his seven outings in the toughest format.

His pair of double hundreds in the Vizag and Rajkot Tests versus England etched him in the record books as only the third Indian to bag consecutive double tons after former Mumbai stalwart Vinod Kambli and modern-day legend Virat Kohli.

Jaiswal would be hoping to continue his rich vein of form as India strive to retain their winning momentum heading into the fourth Test in Ranchi, starting Friday (February 23).
