While the fans and experts are eagerly waiting for the list, rumours of Lucknow Super Giants trading KL Rahul with RCB have spread like fire on social media. 

However, the franchise has recently quashed such baseless reports in style. Taking to their social media handle on X (formerly Twitter), the Super Giants, on Sunday, confirmed that Rahul is going to be a part of the squad for the upcoming IPL season. 

LSG's social media team posted a paper symbolising their team sheet with Rahul's name written in the first row. The clarification from the Super Giants eased the nerves of their fans, as Rahul has been the poster boy of the franchise since their debut in the lucrative league. 

After enjoying stellar success as a batter for Punjab Kings, Rahul was picked up by the Super Giants ahead of the IPL 2022. Besides leading the franchise, the stylish right-handed batter has amassed 890 runs for them at an impressive average of 44.50. Hailed for his consistency, the Karnataka-born is all set to captain the team in the IPL 2024.
