Who Will Replace Jasprit Bumrah In India's Must-Win Game Against Nepal Today?

Team India's first game of the Asia Cup which was against Pakistan, was washed out, and both teams were awarded one point each. For India to qualify for the Super 4s, today's game against Nepal is a must-win game for Rohit and the company.

Fans who were waiting to see Jasprit Bumrah make a comeback in the ODIs will have to wait for another match. The fast bowler did not get to warm his body against the men in green as the rain did not allow the second innings of the match. And now, he has gone back to India as he welcomes his first child into this world.

It is believed that Bumrah will be back for the Super 4s but will miss today's game against Nepal. Now the question is, who will be replacing the fiery Bumrah in this must-win game?

India have a couple of options in Mohammed Shami and Prasidh Krishna or they can play a third spinner in Axar Patel who will increase the batting depth as well.

Well, everyone was surprised by the exclusion of Mohammed Shami from the playing XI against Pakistan. Now that a place is vacant for a seamer, Shami and Prasidh are the front runners for the spot. But considering the fact that Prasidh is coming back after a long injury break, so Mohammed Shami becomes the first-choice replacement in today's match against Nepal.

The right-arm fast bowler is the most experienced seamer in the team. He can swing the ball early in the innings and can reverse with the old ball too. With 90 ODI games under his belt and having taken 162 ODI wickets, Shami will be the perfect kind to replace the unavailable Jasprit Bumrah.
