The Indian team may have been struggling in the 50-over format this year, but there are a few batters who can make things happen for India in this Asia Cup 2023 and World Cup 2023.

Here are the top 5 batters with most 50+ scores in ODIs

Shubman Gill

The Indian opener might not be having a great time lately, but he is the most successful batter in limited-overs cricket in the year 2023 so far. The right-hander smashed two 50+ scores against Sri Lanka, two against New Zealand, and one in the last ODI series against West Indies, Shubman smashed 85 runs in the third ODI. With five 50+ scores, Gill is ranked top on this list.

Ishan Kishan

The man who is in red hot form, Ishan Kishan comes second on the list with four 50+ score. Kishan had the best time at the West Indies tour and score three consecutive half centuries in the three ODIs. And how can we forget his 82 against Pakistan? With the form he is in, Kishan will be the key player going forward in the next few months.

Hardik Pandya

The vice-captain of the Indian team is stepping up and taking responsibility. Hardik Pandya is the third on the list with three 50+ scores in the ODIs this year. He smashed 70 runs in the third ODI against West Indies that too in a series decider, while he was captaining the team. His third ODI half-century of the year came against Pakistan on Saturday in India's first game of the Asia Cup 2023.

Rohit Sharma

The Hitman may have not played much ODI cricket this year, but he is still at the fourth spot of this list with three 50+ scores. He scored one against Sri Lanka and the other two against the Kiwis. These three innings also include his ton against New Zealand at Indore. Every opposition knows how dangerous Rohit can be when he is in touch, so he will look to get back in rhythm to get ready for the World Cup 2023.

Virat Kohli

We have Virat Kohli, the anchor of the Indian team as well in this list at the with three 50+ scores as well. With two ODI tons in this year, Kohli is brimming with high spirits. After a rough year and a half, Virat looked great in the 2022. And now with tons in each format, the vintage Virat is back and that's what the team needs before the big event.
