As New Zealand posted a massive total, cricket fans started getting curious about Pakistan's highest successful run chase at the National Stadium in Karachi. For the unversed, the venue has been a happy hunting ground for the chasing sides and Pakistan recently recorded a historic chase there in the Tri-Series.

Notably, Pakistan chased a huge score of 353 runs in a recent game against South Africa in Karachi. While Breetzke, Bavuma and Klaasen powered the Proteas to 352, Rizwan and Agha Salman smashed blistering tons, as the hosts posted 355 in the second half.

Latham, Young Centuries Power NZ To A Massive Total

The Pakistan captain's decision proved disastrous for his side, as New Zealand posted a mammoth score of 320 runs in their allotted 50 overs. The hosts managed to get quick wickets of the dependable Devon Conway and Kane Williamson. However, Will Young and Tom Latham frustrated the Men in Green with their scintillating stroke play.

Eventually, both players slammed flamboyant tons, propelling the BlackCaps to a towering total of 320 runs. Glenn Phillips also played an instrumental role, scoring 61 runs off just 39 balls.
