Pakistan found 'Bazball' too hot to handle in Rawalpindi

The last time Pakistan played a Test match at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, they were handed a comprehensive 74-run defeat by England. 

Batting first, the Englishmen posted a mammoth total of 657 runs in their first innings, riding on scintillating hundreds from Zak Crawley, Ben Duckett, Ollie Pope and Harry Brook. 

In response, Pakistan also showcased their prowess with the bat, managing 579 runs on the board, thanks to sublime centuries from Imam-ul-Haq, Abdullah Shafique and Babar Azam. 

England were at their destructive best in the second innings, racing to 264 runs inside just 36 overs. Thus, Pakistan were given a challenging target of 343 runs to win the Test match. 

However, the hosts faltered during the run chase, being bowled out for 268 runs in 96.3 overs. Ben Stokes received massive applause for his astute leadership, securing a memorable win for the visitors on a relatively dead track. 

James Anderson and Ollie Robinson starred with the ball for England, scalping four wickets each. Robinson even bagged the player of the match award for his clinical spell in the second innings.
