The much-anticipated clash between Pakistan and Bangladesh is set to commence as the first Test takes place at the Rawalpindi Stadium.

The buzz was already created a month back, and now the big day has arrived for the two teams, especially for the Shan Masood led Pakistan side, who are eyeing a place in the WTC finals.

The series was marred by controveries, but the two sides have kept that behind, and have focused on the bigger objective - to win the series.

PAK Vs BAN: Rain disrupts first Test at Rawalpindi

However, the series opener has been halted by relentless rain taking place in Rawalpindi. There was considerable amount of rain on Monday night, and as a result, patches have been formed around the playing surface. The entire square has been covered by the groundstaffs.

The weather report predicted rain on all five days of the Test match, with Day 1 witnessing nearly 50% chance of getting abandoned. It looks like the entire first session would be washed out as the two teams keep their fingers crossed.
