The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is all set to host the Cricket World Cup 2023 after 12 long years. The craze for cricket is huge in India and everyone wants to see their favourite players play on their nearest grounds.
While many of the fans have not got the tickets for the desired matches in their hometowns, some have even gotten the tickets for the India-Pakistan game and will be flying to Ahmedabad just for the match.
BCCI have been felicitating the icons of India with the Golden tickets for the World Cup 2023. Sachin Tendulkar, Amitabh Bachchan and Rajnikanth have received the Golden tickets and will be able to visit the stadiums to watch the games.
What are the privileges of the Golden Tickets?
The fans are wondering what it means to have a golden ticket for the upcoming World Cup. BCCI have been seeing presenting the Golden Tickets to the National Icons under the Golden Ticket for Golden Icons programme. This Golden Ticket is only for the National Icons and it will give access to the Icons for all the 48 matches of the tournament.
The Icons will not just have access to all the matches at all the venues but they will be treated as the VIPs with the possession of this particular ticket. BCCI is doing everything they can to promote this World Cup and turn it into a huge event.
Recently, the World Cup anthem has been launched, where several famous figures have been seeing grooving on the anthem. Raveer Singh was seen as the lead actor in the anthem along with the small appearances from Dhanashree Verma, Be Younick, Gaurav Taneja and a few others.
