India Women will face South Africa Women at Chinnaswamy Stadium tomorrow at 1:30 PM IST. After securing victories in the first two games, the result of the series  is already determined. 

However, senior Indian all rounder Deepti Sharma vows that India won't take the game lightly. She believes South Africa will aim to build on the positives from their previous matches and try win the third game.


“Yes, we have won the series but we will not approach this match as one of academic interest. We look to learn from whatever opportunities we get, as we will be going into the one-off Test (in Chennai) later this week,” said Deepti in the pre-match press meet.

Deepti Sharma has been crucial in India's wins vs South Africa Women, especially in the first game. It was Deepti Sharma who rescued India when they were struggling at 99-5, with a sensible 37-run innings. 

Deepti formed an 81-run partnership with vice-captain Smriti Mandhana who scored a century, helping India Women reach a total of 265-8. She also took two wickets when she bowled. India won the first game by 143 runs. 

The second game was a blockbuster thriller where India won by just 4 runs. Indian skipper Harmanpreet Kaur and Smriti Mandhana both scored centuries in this game.

In response, South Africa's captain Laura Wolvaardt and Marizanne Kapp also scored centuries. But despite their efforts, India won the game for 4 runs.
