Indian T20 World Cup winning captain, Rohit Sharma who graced the Wimbledon Centre Court for the semi-finals of the ongoing season revealed Shreyas Iyer as the Indian teammate that he'd like to play doubles with.

On Friday, July 12, Rohit Sharma made his first-ever appearance at the famous Royal Box of Wimbledon when Carlos Alcaraz played Daniil Medvedev in the first semi-final followed by Novak Djokovic facing Lorenzo Musetti.

While talking to the Wimbledon media, Sharma was also asked which cricketers would be the best doubles partners to which he said that none of them are great and would prefer playing singles, however, picked Shreyas Iyer later.

"I would like to play singles because none of our teammates are great [at tennis] but if I had to pick one, I would pick Shreyas Iyer."

Earlier in the first weekend of the tournament, other cricketers like Sachin Tendulkar, Ravi Shastri, Joe Root, Ben Stokes and Jos Buttler had also made their presence felt at the famous Centre Court of Wimbledon for the earlier rounds.
