[Watch] Sachin Tendulkar Gets Grand Welcome At The Centre Court In Wimbledon

Wimbledon is in all its glory on the first weekend of the 2024 season and Sachin Tendulkar has graced the famous Centre court as Alexander Zverev and Cameron Norrie play the round three game on Saturday afternoon.

The cricket legend, Sachin Tendulkar who is present with his wife received a grand welcome as he graced the royal box of the Centre Court at SW19. The London crowd went berserk with the ovation as the presenter announced Sachin's name and his achievements with the legend standing and acknowledging the crowd.

Amongst his achievements, the presenter mentioned Sachin's 2011 World Cup win and his record of scoring the most runs in the history of cricket.

Wimbledon's official social media handles posted the video with India's Cricket World Cup 2011 celebrations at Wankhede, welcoming Sachin.

The current and ex-England captains, Ben Stokes and Joe Root are also among the cricketers present at the match alongside Sachin. Ravi Shastri was another ex-cricketer who was present at the Centre Court earlier in the week after calling the T20 World Cup final on June 29 in Guyana.
