Virat Kohli was spotted having a chat with Indian cricket coach and former all-rounder Sanjay Bangar in Mumbai. The legendary Indian batter recently underwent a disastrous Test tour of Australia, where he managed to tally just 190 runs across five matches.

Kohli even batted in the nets under the supervision of Bangar as the cricketer seemingly prepped himself for his potential return to Ranji Trophy, and for next month’s ICC Champions Trophy in the UAE.

Virat Kohli trains in nets after Australia horror

Virat Kohli was spotted sweating it out in the nets for an intense training session under the supervision of Indian cricket coach and former all-rounder Sanjay Bangar. Kohli seemed to be in good nick during the session, as he successfully employed his trademark defense as well as his elegant punches and drives during the short minute-long video as trending on social media.

As per reports, Virat Kohli will soon be making his return to Ranji Trophy for the Delhi cricket team. The Delhi team will be facing Railways in a four-day match at the Arun Jaitley Stadium between January 30 and February 2.

Kohli is currently undergoing one of the worst phases of his batting career, as he managed to tally just 190 runs in five matches against Australia, and also failed to put up a notable score against New Zealand and Bangladesh in the preceding home Tests.

The modern-day batting behemoth is also selected in the Indian squad for the upcoming 2025 ICC Champions Trophy. In the lead-up to the tournament, Virat Kohli will be seen gracing the Indian colors during a short three-match ODI series against England at home between February 6 and February 12.
