Virat Kohli had a rare off series in ODI format as he could not muster a single fifty and India went onto loss the series against the Lankans by a 0-2 margin. It was Sri Lanka's first bilateral series win against India after 1997 and was  big shock for all Indian fans after the highs of the T20 World Cup win.

Now, after the series got over, Virat Kohli has flown back to London where his young family is staying now-a-days and it has again fueled rumours of Virat Kohli permanently shifting to London. After the T20 World Cup win as well, he flew directly from Mumbai to London and has been rarely seen in India when he is not playing now-a-days.

The legendary batter is likely to be next seen in action in the Test series against Bangladesh which is scheduled to start on 19th of September. We might see him heading back to India for the preparation of that tour in September, and he would be looking to get back to his consistent best, something which he has not been able to do after a brilliant 2024 IPL season.
