[Watch] 'Very Hopeful That He Will Be Available' - CSK CEO On MS Dhoni's Participation In IPL 2025

MS Dhoni is a legend of the game, and from the last few years, there have been speculations about his retirement from IPL. However, the man continues to surprise the cricketing world with his extraordinary skills and fitness, and managed to turn back the clock with his power-hitting in IPL 2024 as well. 

CSK, however, could not qualify for the Playoffs and many are speculating that the world has seen the last of Dhoni, but some are still hopeful, and one of those is none other than CSK CEO Kasi Viswanathan. In an interview after the season, the anchor is seen asking CSK CEO about the future of MS Dhoni to which Kasi replied that even he does not known as of now and only MS can answer it.

The veteran CSK insider added that they have left the decision to Dhoni and he is known to declare things at the appropriate time, but he is very hopeful that MSD comes back for another season and all CSK fans including him are hoping for the same.

MS Dhoni relinquished CSK's captaincy ahead of the IPL 2024 and Ruturaj Gaikwad was handed the reins. However, despite some good performances, CSK crashed out of the tournament courtesy their loss to RCB in the final game of the league stage.
