The controversy surrounding Chennai Super Kings (CSK) legend MS Dhoni and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) has escalated following their group stage match on May 18. 

Videos emerged showing Dhoni walking off the pitch without shaking hands after waiting for the RCB players. This incident has sparked significant discussion among fans and critics.

In the match, RCB handed a humiliating defeat to the defending champions CSK by 27 runs, securing their spot in the playoffs and continuing their pursuit of the IPL title this season. However, it was Dhoni's departure from the pitch that became the focal point post-match.

Star Sports anchor Tanay Tiwari weighed in on the situation with a segment titled "Why Didn't Dhoni Shake Hands." Present at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Tiwari explained that Dhoni appeared "pissed" and "unhappy" after being dismissed by Yash Dayal and was in visible pain throughout the match. 

Following the conclusion of the game, Dhoni emerged with an unhappy expression, waited briefly, and then walked away, leading Tiwari to describe it as "MS Dhoni's coldest walk ever."

As the fallout from this incident continues, RCB is now preparing to face Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the eliminator match on May 22. The outcome of this match will determine who advances further in the playoffs, adding another layer of intensity to the ongoing IPL season.
