Vinod Kambli, a boy who once forged 664-run partnership alongside Sachin Tendulkar in a school game, seems to having serious health concerns at present. The 52-year-old, who even once smashed a 22-run over against Shane Warne, can not even manage to walk, as it was visible in a recent video on Instagram.

A media person named Narendra Gupta posted a Kambli's video on Instagram. There, he highlighted Kambli's current health conditions while referring him as 'a former Indian cricketer.'

Of course, Kambli was thought to be one of the next big things in Indian cricket when he came into fray. He tallied 1084 runs across 17 Tests since making his Test debut at Eden Gardens against England on February 2, 1993, averaging 54.20.

"Former cricketer Vinod Kambli is battling poor health. Vinod Kambli, a former Indian cricketer, has been open about his struggles with health issues and personal problems in recent years. He has been hospitalized several times due to various health concerns, including heart problems and depression. I hope he recovers soon and gets the support he needs!" Narendra Gupta posted on Instagram.

Along with Tests, Kambli played 104 ODIs, and aggregated 2477 runs at an average of 32.59.  His First-Class record was exceptional, averaging 59.67 for his 9965 runs across 129 matches.

Notably, Kambli had a heart attack in 2013. Prior to that, he also underwent angioplasty on his two blocked arteries. Now, he seems like he is facing the heat yet again.
