It has been a couple of days since the victory, and Indian fans still can't sink in the feeling of winning the T20 World Cup 2024.

Adding to the excitement, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) recently released a video showcasing the dressing room celebrations of Team India after their historic victory in Barbados.

Unforgettable Moments in the Dressing Room

The video, which has since gone viral, captures the euphoric atmosphere as players like Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma kissed the World Cup trophy, clicked pictures with it, and lauded each other for ending a 13-year wait.

The dressing room was filled with smiles and hugs, with everyone eager to capture the moment forever.

Head Coach Rahul Dravid delivered a special speech to commend the players, while Captain Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli also addressed the team.

As Rohit, Kohli and Jadeja announced their retirement from T20 Internationals following the victory, with Kohli praising his teammates and recounting his stellar performance in the final, where he scored 76 runs.

The video also highlights BCCI Secretary Jay Shah awarding Suryakumar Yadav a special medal for his outstanding catch and he was also a part of the celebration, adding to the jubilant mood.

Fans were treated to glimpses of Jasprit Bumrah, Hardik Pandya, and Arshdeep Singh revelling in the victory, showcasing the unity and joy within the team.

India's narrow win over South Africa by 7 runs in the final on June 29 sparked celebrations that spilled from the field into the locker room.

On the field, fans witnessed Kohli's bhangra dance and Rohit Sharma planting the Indian flag on West Indies soil.

The 48-second long video ends with Arshdeep Singh showing two snaps—one taken before the game and the second one after the game with the trophy—highlighting the journey and the strong belief and determination.
