Following their seven-wicket win against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), Mumbai Indians' (MI) star performer from the game, Suryakumar Yadav, was seen hitting the nets as he cut a ball so precisely that it went on to hit and shatter their social media team's camera.

During Surya's net session, Mumbai Indians' content team had placed a go-pro on a tripod just outside the pitch and near the wide line to capture the action from close quarters.

Funnily, SKY had some other plans. After taking what looked like a middle-off stump guard, he accurately played a late cut on a ball at around the 6th-7th stump line which went and hit the go-pro on the tripod.

The camera looked safe as the video ended but the tripod got completely shattered. The social media team found the funny side as they tweeted the video saying, "Humne kya bigaada tha, सूर्या दादा? 🥲"

The 33-year-old superstar, who went under the knife for his ankle tear and also suffered sports hernia, returned to cricketing scene this week after a long layoff. He had last played a competitive game against South Africa in December 2023.

Following his return, he scored a two-ball duck against Delhi Capitals before ripping RCB apart on Thursday, scoring 19 ball 52 in a 197-run chase.

The former MI captain will now be raring to go the same way against arch-nemesis, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on Sunday, April 14, which is expected to be another cracker of a game.
