LSG To Wear Green And Maroon Jersey In IPL 2024 Match Vs KKR; Check The Reason

LSG set to wear Maroon and Green jersey [iplt20]

The Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) are set to ditch their dark blue jersey and will wear a brand new Green and Maroon one against the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in their next IPL match.

The jersey combination is a tribute to the Indian Super League (ISL) side, Mohun Bagan Super Giant, which is also owned by the same onwer, Sanjeev Goenka. The LSG franchise did the same thing last year, when they faced off against the Knight Riders at the Eden Gardens.

There are also reports that the KL Rahul led franchise will attend Mohun Bagan's ISL Shield decider, the day after the KKR clash.

LSG's journey in IPL 2024

Talking about LSG's IPL 2024 campaign so far, the team lost their opening encounter, but then went on a three game winning streak, before losing to Delhi Capitals.

In their last match against the Delhi Capitals, LSG looked down and out at 94/7, but then Ayush Badoni and Arshad Khan took the attack to the opposition and posted a competitive 167, courtesy of a Badoni masterclass.

However, the total waa chased down with relative ease as Jake Fraser-McGurk and Rishabh Pant tonked the LSG bowling attack to the cleaners.

The KL Rahul led side will look to bounce back when they take on KKR on April 14.
