Pakistan spin-bowling all-rounder Shadab Khan announced himself in the Masters League Cricket (MLC) with a brilliant cameo on Saturday. The handy lower-order batter, who is representing San Francisco Unicorns, smashed a whirlwind 30-ball 61 against MI New York to help his side post a match-winning 215/5 in 20 overs.
Coming into bat at 4/50, Shadab started cautiously, scoring 14 off just 11 deliveries, before breaking shackles in the 15th over of the innings, which was bowled by leg-spinner Sarabjit Ladda.
The Pakistani basher proceeded to smash his fellow leg-spinner for 4 consecutive boundaries, including three maximums to blaze his way to a 24-ball half-century.

Shadab gave brilliant support to former New Zealand international, Corey Anderson, who smashed a breathtaking 52-ball 91* with the help of 4 fours and 7 sixes.
The duo went on to add 129 runs for the 5th wicket in just over 10 overs, ultimately paving way for San Francisco to post a match-winning total of 215/5 in 20 overs.
Khan then returned with the ball to claim the prized scalp of South African basher Devald Brevis, eventually finishing with figures of 1/32 in 3 overs, as San Francisco romped home to a 22-run win.
