Fast-paced T20 cricket has been the flavour of the season this year, with the abundance of 20-overs cricket being played around the world lately.

England's T20 Blast 2024 is one such competition, where the cricket is action-packed, and sees brilliant moments from all facets of the game like batting, bowling, and fielding. On Sunday, Australia's Sean Abbott playing for Surrey against Somerset in the South Group encounter displayed his agility in the field and produced a remarkable run-out.

Abbott, known for his swiftness across the ground, ran Somerset's Tom Kohler-Cadmore out after the batter attempted to sneak in a quick single. Cadmore nudged the ball towards the midwicket region, where Abbott was positioned, who ran in, picked up the ball, and instantly with a bullet-like throw uprooted the stumps at the non-striker's end with a one-handed throw.

Cadmore's dismissal proved costly, as Somerset collapsed after his wicket, and were bundled out of merely 106 in pursuit of 164. Cadmore, who played in the recently concluded Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 for Rajasthan Royals (RR) managed just 25 off 10.

Apart from the fielding heroic, the lanky Australia all-rounder also starred with the ball, claiming three wickets in as many overs while giving away just eight runs. The 32-year-old claimed wickets of Tom Abell, Roelof van der Merwe, and Jake Ball for four, one, and zero, respectively.
