Pakistan's ODI captain Mohammad Rizwan seemed determined to add multidimensional skills to his armour, as he fine-tuned his bowling ahead of the upcoming New Zealand series. Rizwan missed out on the T20I series, as the PCB selection committee dropped him from the team.

Rizwan Rolls His Arms; A Change In Role On Cards?

Meanwhile, ahead of the ODI series against New Zealand, Rizwan was spotted working on his bowling skills. In a video doing rounds on social media, Rizwan can be seen fine-tuning his medium-pace bowling as he gears up for the three-match series.

Rizwan resembles Naseem Shah in his bowling action as he bowls a back-of-the-length delivery which the batter defends with authority.

Mohammad Rizwan's Fall From Grace

After he led Pakistan to two clinical series victories in Australia and South Africa, Rizwan was expected to guide his team to glory in the Champions Trophy. However, the keeper-batter had a horrendous journey in the tournament, as Pakistan crashed out of the group-stage, losing consecutive games from India and New Zealand.

As he failed to deliver in the competition, the PCB excluded Rizwan from the T20I team, replacing him with Salman Ali Agha as the captain.

Pakistan's Poor Run In NZ T20Is

However, despite changing the leadership group, Pakistan have yet to taste success on the New Zealand tour. They lost the first T20I by nine wickets before the hosts crushed them by five wickets in the subsequent encounter. The visitors are in a do-or-die situation and they will face the rampant Kiwis in a must-win affair on Friday.
