Rashid Khan's Afghanistan have created history in T20 World Cup 2024 by qualifying for their first-ever semis. There were scenes of Jubilation all over Afghanistan and the cricketing world and the way they have played in the World Cup, there is a hope among the cricketing world that they will come out on top in the semifinal against South Africa.
Now, ahead of the all-important clash at the Brian Lara Stadium in Trinidad, Rashid Khan has come forward with a special message for all Afghan fans in the local language Pashto. In the video, the star leg-spinner is looking pretty emotional and is looking all ready for another important battle.

Talking about the performance of Afghanistan in this World Cup, they started off with a victory against the Kiwis and then went onto defeat Australia and Bangladesh in the Super 8, to create history by qualifying alongside India, England and South Africa. Rashid Khan himself has done brilliantly, while their openers, led by Rahmanullah Gurbaz have also played a big role in their success.
However, things won't be easy for the Asian side as South Africa have not lost a single game in this World Cup, and would also be itching to get into their first final in the history of T20 World Cups.
