Batting legend Rahul Dravid's son Samit was seen rolling his arms over during the U-19 Cooch Behar Trophy final against Mumbai. Playing for the Karnataka U-19s, the all-round cricketer ran in and delivered his steady medium fast-bowling in the summit clash.

The clip shared by the BCCI and Indian broadcaster JioCinema has gone viral as fans feel awestruck by the young Samit's brilliant run-up and pace generated towards the batter.

Sprinting in straight alignments, the junior Dravid seems designed to extract optimum speed out of his developing physique and was seen pitching it short to Mumbai U-19 right-hander Nutan, who did manage to flick it towards the mid-wicket region.

Samit came in from a long run-up against Nutan and banged the ball in at the good length region against the Mumbai U-19 right-hander.

Unfortunately, there was no more action in the clip. However, by the looks of the scorecards available on the BCCI website, it is understood that the Dravid junior delivered a tight spell of 0/41 off his first 10 overs.

While the senior Dravid continues to hog the limelight for his exploits as India's reigning head coach at the international stage, the media and fans have also kept an eye out on Samit, who continues to grow quite rapidly as a cricketer in the junior domestic set-up for Karnataka.

The final of the Cooch Behar Trophy is an ideal opportunity for him to shine and impress the junior selectors. Samit could be one of the most popular faces among India's U-19 stars, showcasing their mettle at the youth level.

Dravid would be there to make sure his ward doesn't take any shortcuts in his journey, like he didn't, and fine-tune his talent with ample guidance and the right mentorship.
