When Rashid Khan Imitated Virat Kohli's Cover Drive And Noor Ahmad Failed To Recognise

Two players who share immense respect for each other off the field but are fierce competitors on the field are India's Virat Kohli and Afghanistan's Rashid Khan. Kohli and Khan have on several occasions expressed love for each other's craft and have been seen chatting during post or pre any Indian Premier League (IPL) match involving Royal Challengers Bangalore and Gujarat Titans.

However, a funny incident took place during a game of cricket charades between Khan and fellow Afghanistan Noor Ahmad during IPL 2022, which had a Kohli connection that the Gujarat Titans shared on their YouTube channel. 

In the game, Khan picked up a chit that asked the player to imitate Kohli, which Ahmad after multiple times ended up guessing.

Khan showcased various Kohli trademark shots, including the cover drive and also his animated celebrations, to which Ahmad guessed the names of Rohit Sharma, Sachin Tendulkar, and Rashid himself before finally answering Kohli. Check Video

In the clip, Khan also imitated former Pakistan captain and all-rounder Shahid Afridi, while Ahmad acted as ex-GT skipper Hardik Pandya and an unrecognisable Muttiah Muralitharan, who is a Sri Lankan legend. 

Meanwhile, Afghanistan, who are in India for their first-ever T20I series against the hosts, will be without the services of Khan, while Kohli, who made a return to T20Is after ICC T20 World Cup 2023, will miss the first encounter at Mohali this evening citing personal reasons.
