In a heated clash between Delhi Capitals and Gujarat Titans, tensions flared when Kuldeep Yadav lashed out at teammate Ishant Sharma for an unnecessary throw, which could have resulted in costly overthrow runs for GT.

Delhi Capitals visited Ahmedabad for an IPL 2024 season clash against Gujarat Titans earlier this week. However, the game took an unexpected turn after the home side witnessed an unprecedented collapse.

Batting first, GT managed only 89 runs which DC chased down inside the 10 overs of the second innings to register a thumping win.

That being said, in an interesting moment caught on the stump mic, DC spinner Kuldeep Yadav was seen having a go at senior member Ishant Sharma over a fielding error. 

The incident flared during the 8th over of the first innings when Kuldeep was bowling to Rahul Tewatia. The batter pushed the penultimate delivery of the over towards Ishant Sharma at short third man. The fielder saw Abhinav Manohar at the non-striker end rushing out of the crease to steal a single.

While Tewatia sent Manohar back, Ishan Sharma launched a direct throw to run the non-striker out. While he missed the chance, the throw nearly cost DC overthrow runs due to the absence of a backup fielder.

That enraged Kuldeep Yadav as he screamed in agony to reprimand veteran Ishan Sharma for his foolish throw. 

The heated moment was caught on a stump mic, and the clip has been widely shared on social media ever since.

Regardless, DC avoided damage and wrapped up GT's innings to an abysmal score. In the chase, Rishabh Pant and Jake Fraser-McGurk pushed fifth gear to complete the formalities inside 8.5 overs.
