Mukesh Kumar made his debut in IPL 2023 and since then has taken rapid strides with debut across formats for India. He is a key player for DC in this 2024 season, and after missing out on couple of games, he is showing his class with some quality bowling both with the new ball and at the death. 

In the 32nd match of IPL 2024, Delhi Capitals knocked over home team Gujarat Titans for just 89 and three of those wickets were taken by Mukesh Kumar. The right-arm seamer first cleaned up Wriddhiman Saha and then came back at the death to get rid of dangerous Rashid Khan and eventually folded the innings with the wicket of Noor Ahmad.

It was a length delivery on the off stump line and Noor Ahmad who is not known for his batting talent, swung his bat across the line and missed it completely to see his off-stump getting knocked over in style.

It was a sorry batting performance from the home team and it turned out to be their lowest-ever total in IPL. It is also a lowest total by any team against Delhi Capitals and Rishabh Pant will surely be delighted with his boys effort at Ahmedabad.
