Former Indian captain, MS Dhoni and his wife, Sakshi Singh Dhoni, have made their debut in the Tamil film industry, also known as Kollywood, as producers of the film 'Let's Get Married' (LGM). Recently, the couple marked the occasion with a grand audio and trailer launch on July 10 in Chennai.

The event was further brightened up by the presence of Tamil actor Yogi Babu, who plays a significant role in the movie. During the event, Dhoni stole the show with his trademark humour, engaging in light-hearted banter with the actor. The duo celebrated the launch by cutting a cake, images and videos of which are now trending online.

A particular video showing Dhoni tricking Babu while sharing the cake has garnered a lot of attention. The legendary cricketer, feigning to feed Babu, quickly ate the piece of cake himself, leaving Babu in surprised disappointment. This playful exchange elicited laughter from the gathered crowd and was soon followed by the cricketer offering Babu a piece of the cake.


Dhoni's humour was not limited to cake-sharing antics alone. In response to the 37-year-old actor's expressed desire to join the Chennai Super Kings (CSK), Dhoni extended a jesting invite to Babu. 

The CSK captain referred to the recent retirement of Ambati Rayudu, creating a vacancy in the team. However, Dhoni humorously pointed out that Babu's acting commitments and the challenging nature of facing professional bowlers could be potential impediments.

“Rayudu (Ambati) is retired. So, we do have a place for you in CSK. I'll speak to the management. But, you are so busy in films. I'll tell you, you have to play consistently. They bowl very fast and they bowl to injure you only,” said Dhoni.
