Many a times cricket has witnessed some obnoxious circumstances that have raised eyebrows of fans and pundits across the world. Something controversial happened in the game between Pakistan and New Zealand when umpires forgot to check the 30 yard circle marking prior to the start of the game.

It was during the second ODI between the sides happening at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium when the first over was bowled and umpires realised that the circle wasn't measured properly which led to game being halted mid-way.

Umpires then re-positioned the circle correctly ensuring that game proceeds well according to the laws of the game and played fairly.

Earlier, Pakistan won the toss and invited the Kiwi side to bat first with Will Young and Chad Bowes opening the innings for visitors.

By the time of writing, New Zealand were 35 for 1 after the completion of six overs as Haris Rauf removed Young for 19.

Previously, the five-match T20I series between two sides ended in a stalemate as one of the games was abandoned due to rain. However, Pakistan are leading the way in ODI series with win in the first encounter.
