Virat Kohli and Glenn Maxwell shared a great bond on and off the field, particularly ever since the latter joined Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) for the Indian Premier League (IPL).

The duo were seen playing football recently in a light training session at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, and their relationship on Wednesday during RCB’s Green Jersey launch event made headlines yet again.

When a host announced Kohli on the stage, Maxwell, along with Faf du Plessis, and Mohammed Siraj started to clap to welcome him, with the Australian being the most energetic among all. In fact, the duo had a short fun conversation, leaving fans in absolute awe.

Both Kohli and Maxwell were present at Chinnaswamy during RCB’s Unbox event on March 19. They, alongside the rest of the RCB men support staff and players, giving them a guard of honour to congratulate RCB women, who just won the Women’s Premier League (WPL) by defeating Delhi Capitals at Arun Jaitley Stadium.

RCB will play the first game of the IPL 2024 campaign against CSK on March 22 in Chennai.
