The Bangladesh tour of Pakistan is all set to unfold despite the political turmoil in Bangladesh, and the preparations from the same have started in full swing. In a video released by the official X handle of Bangladesh Cricket, the players are seen training hard at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur.

Star players like captain Najmul Hossain Shanto, Mustafizur Rahman, Litton Das are all seen practicing in the nets and though, the BCB has not announced the team for the two-match Test series against Pakistan, all these players are most likely to participate in it.

Shakib Al Hasan is not with the team though, as he was plying his trade for Bangla Tigers in Global T20 Canada till recently, and would directly fly to Pakistan if he does get selected in the squad.


Watch BAN Players Train Hard Amidst Political Turmoil

Players like Mushfiqur Rahim, Mominul Haque are already in Pakistan with the A team, and the senior side is also set to leave on August 12, few days earlier that earlier scheduled due to the political instability in Bangladesh.

The first Test will be played from 21st of August in Rawalpindi while the second Test will be at National Stadium in Karachi from 30th of August.
