Jason Roy is a dangerous player and he has shown that in the two matches in a row for KKR now. He smashed a brilliant fifty against CSK and now has backed it up with another belligerent fifty off just 22 balls against RCB. He got KKR off to a flier against RCB at M. Chinnaswamy and made sure that Siraj does not cause any damage in the Powerplay.
However, Vijaykumar Vyshak, the young RCB bowler showed his class when the big guns failed and got both the openers, N Jagadeesan and Jason Roy in the 10th over. It was his wicket of Jason Roy which was a game-changer and it was one cracker of a delivery that got the better of Jason Roy.
Young Vijaykumar Vyshak came over the wicket and bowled a pin point yorker angling into leg as Roy moved across to his right to flick it away. He ended up missing it altogether as the ball knocked over the leg pole bringing the jam-packed RCB crowd on its feet.
Vijaykumar Vyshak was absolutely pumped up after taking that big wicket and that showed how much that Roy wicket meant to him and RCB. At the time of writing, KKR are 126-2 at the end of 14 overs.
