In a controversial moment caught on live camera, Imam-ul-Haq, Pakistan opener and Babar's close friend, was seen laughing hard at a tweet that criticised Babar Azam's performance against the USA in T20 World Cup, and his questionable reaction has since gone viral.

Pakistan hit a new low this 2024 T20 World Cup as their trend of being on the other side of upsets was perpetuated.

A full-strength Pakistan cricket team was humiliated by associate member nation USA in a super over thriller earlier this week. Captain Babar Azam was left largely embarrassed and upset as his team not only failed to defend 160 runs but also blew up the super over.

Moreover, Babar's own form was scrutinised as his 102.33 strike rate doomed Pakistan in the power play. Needless to say, local fans in Pakistan were not happy with the team's embarrassment and took their anger out on social media.

Meanwhile, in a local news show, Imam-ul-Haq, Pakistan opener, was a part of the panel discussing Pakistan's defeat against the USA. In a certain segment, fan tweets were read out as soon as an anti-Babar Azam tweet appeared on the screen, Imam couldn't control his laughter.

Notably, Imam-ul-Haq is one of the closest friends of Babar Azam. The tweet said that Babar is a great finisher and that he will end up finishing Pakistan cricket someday.

While the show host said that it's unfair and harsh criticism, Imam-ul-Haq was laughing hard along with another panel member.

The video is viral on the internet as fans are questioning Imam's insensitive behaviour towards not only his teammate but also his close friend.
