On Thursday, June 6, hosts USA produced one of the biggest upsets in the history of the T20 World Cup as they beat mighty Pakistan in their second group stage match to now sit first in group A with four points in two games.

The hosts won the toss and put Pakistan to bat first. The Babar Azam-led side failed to score a big score and posted a total of 159/7 in 20 overs.

In reply, the USA got off to a brilliant start but lost wickets in the middle overs. The USA required 15 runs to win off the final over, which is when Haris Rauf came to bowl the last over.

Requiring five off the final ball, Rauf bowled a full-toss and Nitish Kumar smashed it for a four to take the game to super over.

The camera soon focused on Babar Azam, who was understandably animated and gave a death stare to Haris Rauf

Visuals of Babar scolding Rauf spread like fire on the internet. Eventually, the USA went on to win the game in the super over, which brought immense embarrassment to Pakistan Cricket.

In the latest developments, Pakistani journalist Arfa Feroz Zake tweeted that the Pakistani players were terrified seeing Babar angry.

He stated that according to sources, few players within the dressing room saw the Pakistani captain this angry for the very first time in his career.

Pakistan now face an uphill task in the remaining tournament as they will lock horns against India on June 9 at the Nassau County International Stadium.
