As per the latest visuals, it's absolutely pouring down in Barbados, which is why the T20 World Cup final between India and South Africa could get a delayed start. Although plenty of time is still left for the game, heavy rain could significantly impact the playing conditions. 

Barbados Weather Forecast For Today

According to weather.com, the chances of precipitation in Barbados are as high as 30-40 per cent during match time. So, expect some spells of passing showers to intervene in the game and frustrate the players and fans in the all-important T20 World Cup final. 

It's worth noting that the Kensington Oval's excellent drainage system and the players' resilience mean that even if there's a rain break, the game could resume without much delay. 

If play doesn't resume due to a persistent downpour, the match officials will use the reserve day to conduct the game. However, if it rains again on the reserve day, India and South Africa will be declared as the joint winners.
