Pakistan pacer Hasan Ali, who gained fame after heroics in the ICC Champions Trophy 2017, has lately been plagued with injuries and lack of form, which led to the bowler missing out on the ongoing T20 World Cup 2024.

However, Ali in an attempt to regain his place in the national T20 side, is featuring in the T20 Blast 2024 competition for Warwickshire, where a 'Deja Vu' happened to the 29-year-old.

Ali, who is known for his 'generator' celebration after claiming a wicket, proceeded to celebrate Nottinghamshire's Olly Stones' scalp and ended up hurting his ribs in the process midway.

An injury to the star Pakistan player could mean trouble for the county, who is comfortably sitting second in the North Group points table, behind leaders Lancashire, who are ahead on superior net run-rate.

Overall, in 186 T20s, Ali has claimed 246 wickets and has scored 599 runs, proving his batting credentials down the order as well.
