During match No. 66 of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024, between Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Gujarat Titans (GT), Pat Cummins and Shubman Gill were seen playing rock, paper, scissors amid a rain delay. The game was called off due to persistent rain, leading SRH to qualify for the playoffs.
In a video that emerged on social media, Shubman Gill captain of GT was seen winning the playful contest of 'rock, paper, scissors' against the Australian speedster, leading to laughter from both players.
The ground was covered while the captains of SRH and GT were seen at the ground enjoying their time with each other as the match was called off due to unstoppable rain at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad.

SRH have become the third team to qualify for the IPL 2024 playoffs, along with Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Rajasthan Royals.
The 'Orange Army' has secured seven wins from their first 12 matches. Their penultimate game against Gujarat Titans was washed out, leaving them with one final league match against Punjab Kings on May 19, 2024.
To ensure a top-two finish, SRH must defeat the struggling Punjab Kings and hope that Rajasthan Royals lose their final match against KKR.
Shreyas Iyer & Co has already confirmed a top-two finish after their match against Gujarat Titans was abandoned.
The IPL 2024 playoffs will begin with the first qualifier on May 21 at the Narendra Modi Stadium, and the season will conclude with the final on May 26 at the M.A. Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
