The 33-year-old performed with brut aggression and delivered some ground-breaking performances to power the Blues to emphatic wins in the World Cup. His fiery spells flattened numerous high-profile batting lineups who found him too hot to handle.

He performed way beyond everyone’s expectations and ended up being the highest wicket-taker of the tournament despite missing out in the first four games. Hardik’s injury against Bangladesh in Pune paved the way for the speedster to leave a strong mark for Team India in the tournament.
