After a riveting contest against India that ended with rain god having the last laugh, Pakistan team have left for Lahore, where the Babar Azam led side will play their first Super 4 game.

Originally Pakistan were the hosts for this edition's Asia Cup, but the situation is such that they have to host the matches in Sri Lanka as well. After a long gap of 15 years, Asia Cup was back in Pakistan but due to geo-political circumstances, PCB proposed the hybrid model in front of Asian Cricket Council.

Pakistan played Nepal in the tournament opener then came to Sri Lanka for the India match. Ironically, the game was washed out after inning break. Now, they have already gone back to Lahore for the Super Four match. It's tough logistically as well as for the players who had no choice but to travel such long distance.

But all thanks to the scheduling of next stage matches, Pakistan will get a three day break including today before they face their next opponent. Then they will again have to travel back in Sri Lanka for the remaining matches.

It won't bother the team much as they are in best frame of mind playing the best brand of cricket among the participants. In the first match, their batting flourished and in the second match their bowlers joined the party.
